Senior Veterinary Assistant

April joined the HVH family in August 2025. With over 20 years of experience in the corporate world, she transitioned her career in 2021 to pursue a lifelong passion for working with animals. Since 2018, she has volunteered with rescue organizations, focusing on dog training and rehoming, which ultimately inspired her shift into the veterinary field.

She is currently enrolled at Great Bay Community College, working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Her dedication to animal care is matched by her hands-on experience and deep compassion for the well-being of every animal she works with.

Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, reading, and spending quality time with her family and her two beloved dogs—Draco, a Basenji-Boxer mix, and Nova, a German Shepherd–Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix.
